Why the wealthy can save the world!

If you're new here, you should subscribe to my RSS feed and also get yourself on my mailing list. Thanks for visiting!

I just received an interesting email from a wonderful lady…
Hey Carl,

You see people walking picket lines, protesting this
and that, marching for world peace… and they’re
making a difference for the planet, right?

They’re spiritually enlightened, with their hearts
in the right places, and they care more about humanity
than prosperity.

People like Mother Teresa, Ghandi, and the average
Buddhist monk on the hill — people who believe it’s
better to give than receive — they’re the ones who
will save us from doom and gloom… aren’t they?

And while the activists are saving the world, the
starving artists are making it more beautiful.

Anyone who makes a living from their art is just a
“sell-out”, whether it’s a musician making money off
a TV commercial, or a painter who sells their
masterpieces to decorate big corporate head offices.

Right… ???

Umm… hmmm.

What would you say if we told you that was a complete
and total “bass-ackwards” way of thinking?

And that you’re fooling yourself if you continue to
believe that fairy tale, and if you pay the least bit
of attention to what most of the Presidential candidates
monopolizing the media these days are trying to tell
you?

Sometimes — just sometimes — the TRUE activists on
this planet are horses of a different color.

And that color is the color of money.

What???

Reality Creation Components: “Living In Trance”

(Guest article)

In our free book on the nature of your own power we already indicated how you literally create your own reality based on the belief systems ingrained in your consciousness. A great deal of the information that enters your eyes is ‘edited’ by your brain based on these conditioned belief systems to create in image that matches your ingrained worldview.

Consider this, for example. Your eyes have a blind spot where the optic nerve connects to the eye in the middle of the retina. You can’t see anything with that part of your eye. Still, your brain manages to weave a picture together from the information it receives and fills the gap by making assumptions based on what it expects from its conditioned belief systems.

Another example is the condition that is commonly referred to as the ‘phantom limb syndrome’. People dealing with phantom limb syndrome experience the sensations of having a limb that was actually amputated or lost to still be attached to the body and still actually feeling the limb. The five senses still seem to react to the brain’s conditioned sense of reality.

Even more astonishing examples can be seen in the field of hypnosis. Everyone knows about the experiences in stage shows, in which people are made to believe they are seeing the audience naked, or they run around like a chicken and things like that.

Another common example is that the hypnotist makes the subjects believe they are eating onions while thinking they’re eating apples. As an observer you can clearly see that the person is eating an onion, usually expressing clear signs of disgust at the mere thought of it. However, to the person that is hypnotized, the onion actually tastes like an apple.

What happens is that the hypnotist implants a new belief that changes the experience of the person being hypnotized. A new ‘hypnotic reality’ is created based on a new belief system, namely that an onion tastes like an apple. To the person that is being hypnotized, this reality is just as ‘real’ as the one in his or her ‘awakened state’.

In his book The Holographic Universe, the late Michael Talbot describes another experience with hypnosis. He recalls a gathering with a group of friends, and for entertainment purposes his father hired a professional hypnotist. One of the friends was called Tom, and Tom was the lucky guy to get hypnotized.

The hypnotist made Tom believe that there was a giraffe in the room, and the story with the onion tasting like an apple was used as well (except for the onion being a raw potato this time). But then came an even more interesting part.

During his trance state, the hypnotist told Tom that when he would awake, he would not be able to see his daughter Laura. Next, he brought Tom back to ‘waking’ consciousness and asked Laura to stand in front of her father. When he asked Tom if he could see his daughter, he replied that he couldn’t. Laura laughed about it, and even that didn’t make Tom realize his daughter was right in front of him.

After that, the hypnotist stood behind Laura and hid something for Tom by holding it against her back. So to see what he was holding, Tom would have to be able to look through his daughter. When the hypnotist asked Tom what he was holding in his hand, Tom leaned forward to take a good look and answered: “A watch”.

Tom was right. After that, the hypnotist asked Tom if he could read the inscription on the watch. Tom had to take a good look, but he actually managed to read the inscription, while his daughter was standing between him and the watch.

So what happened? Tom had in fact been programmed to believe he couldn’t see his daughter, so he didn’t. Such is the power of your mind.

Another example is proved by Charles T. Tart, who was a professor of Psychology at the University of California (Davis Campus). In his book ‘Altered States of Consciousness’ he describes how he had two skilled hypnotists called Anne and Bill hypnotize each other.

What he was trying to do was to synchronize their two hypnotic realities. And that’s what they managed to do. The two found themselves experiencing the same place, which was a beautiful beach. They swam together in the ocean and studied the crystalline rocks. They even reported talking to each other, even though they were not speaking ‘physically’ in the ‘reality’ from where Tart was observing them.

From their experience the ‘hypnotic reality’ was every bit as ‘real’ as their ‘awakened state’. They had ‘regular’ five-sense-like sensations. Still, they recalled that during their hypnotic experience they often forgot to manifest their bodies and were floating around as just heads and faces. At one point, Bill asked Anne to take his hand, but she first had to ‘think her hand into existence’ before she was able to do this.

These examples of hypnosis give some indications of how ‘reality’ is created ‘in here’, and not ‘out there’, as most of us are conditioned to believe. They show how your whole life experience changes once you change your most basic assumptions about reality.

This is not to say that you should go about getting hypnotized into another reality right away (although in some cases hypnosis can be useful for de-programming purposes). The key is to realize that you may be ‘hypnotized’ right now into a programmed sense of reality that may or may not fit your bill.

The solution then is not to hypnotize yourself into another limited sense of reality. That would be akin to accepting that you have the power to create anything you want and the infinite possibility that comes with it, but still choosing limitation. Besides, in that regard many people are often inclined to choose a reality that they only think they want, because that fits the artificially imposed measures of ‘success’ (see our previous post on this).

But that would never bring you the sense of freedom and happiness that you really seek. The keys to that are ‘self-realization’ and ‘self-fulfillment’. When you realize what you really want, and start pursuing that, you will find that the path to get there will be almost laid-out for you.

All you need to do is to act on the inspirations that you get. These actions will get you there. It’s a guidance by a deeper, subconscious level of yourself, which is beyond the limited perspective of your conscious mind (more about this in a future article).

The problem is that most people have a severely limited perspective of who they are and what they are capable of. And another problem is, that the way ‘society’ is set up, does not stimulate those levels of yourself that can get the game of what we tend to call ‘attraction’ in true motion.

We are constantly being programmed into accepting certain realities, because that’s what makes those realities manifest. In the movie ‘The Matrix’ (the first one), the woman known as the ‘Oracle’ tells the main character called Neo not to worry about the vase. “What vase?”, he asks. And as he asks this question, a vase falls on the floor and shatters into pieces next to him. He apologizes for breaking it, but the Oracle replies:

“What’s really going to cook your noodle is would it have happened if I hadn’t said anything?”

Think about that for a second…

Anyway, we’ll give some more examples of how this is done in future articles. But for now, try to understand that all our lives, our belief systems are conditioned with the limited views that prevail our societies. The true knowledge about who we really are and what we’re capable of were suppressed or even lost, or have at least been given far from sufficient attention. But you can change your belief systems, and thus your reality. And the knowledge is at your fingertips!

But once again, that doesn’t mean you should program yourself into a new reality of ‘limitation’. The real solution is to awaken from your hypnotized state and realize that you control your reality, and that you co-create our collective reality on this plane of existence with each and everybody else. The real solution is to realize who you are, and act according to that ‘instinct’. Once you accept who you are, the walls of limitation will start to crumble immediately.

You don’t have to ‘seek enlightenment’ or anything like that. It’s already knocking on your door. You just need to open it up and let it in.

However, what most of us do is like sticking our heads in the ground with our bums up the air.

“No, no, I can’t do that… What will the neighbours think?”

“Oh no, I can’t do that, I didn’t get good marks in school.”

Acknowledge who you are and what you really want, and the walls of limitation tumble down almost automatically. Then you choose what you experience, from a de-programmed, de-hypnotized state.

Freedom at last!

And if you don’t know where to get started, here’s a suggestion:

Nicholas P. Kidd and Henk J.M. Schram are the instigators of the alleged ‘Great Revolution’, which provides the members with truthful instructions regarding the universal principles of life.

The Revolution is receiving increasingly widespread attention for its straightforward explanations and instructions with regard to complex issues, which are made understandable for people from all walks of life. In essence, the true secrets of the ‘Law of Attraction’ and the other ‘Universal Laws’ are explained in much clearer and practical ways than the ‘enigmas wrapped in riddles’ that usually characterize the descriptions of the Law of Attraction and its application.

Why did James Ray pay 30 bucks for a shoeshine?

How many times have you attempted to start your own business on the side?

How many times have you given up on that dream of entreprenuership?

If you’re like me, you’ve done it several times.

But do you keep trying?

If not…Why not?

I’ll give you one reason…

Lack of sustained enthusiasm.

After you watch the video at the bottom of this post by James Ray, you’ll understand.

Before you watch this, though…keep this thought in mind:

People are attracted to or repelled by the enthusiasm and energy with which you do things. People will spend their money more willingly and in greater amounts on high energy positive experiences produced by people who are ‘turned on’ by what they do.

Watch this video and then contemplate, reformulate, regroup and then go out and dare something worthy!

Whistle Your Way To Success

Michel Foucault’s essay Technologies of the Self Basically divides human technologies into four categories:

Quote:

As a context, we must understand that there are four major types of these “technologies,” each a matrix of practical reason: (I) technologies of production, which permit us to produce, transform, or manipulate things; (2) technologies of sign systems, which permit us to use signs, meanings, symbols, or signification; (3) technologies of power, which determine the conduct of individuals and submit them to certain ends or domination, an objectivizing of the subject; (4) technologies of the self, which permit individuals to effect by their own means or with the help of others a certain number of operations on their own bodies and souls, thoughts, conduct, and way of being, so as to transform themselves in order to attain a certain state of happiness, purity, wisdom, perfection, or immortality.

Things like meditation, anything credible in alternative medicine, and most forms of spirituality fall into the 4th category.

In the essay, Foucalt relays that these are simply the ways that we shape our subjective experience of the world, rather than the world itself.

The essay also trys to resolve one of the most common disconnects that people have when we talk about things like religion, because the objective truth of a belief or a practice is often not relevant to the effect that it has.

If one has a silly superstition to whistle when we pass a graveyard, it doesn’t make the slightest bit of difference whether the whistling affects the world, what matters at that moment that we are passing the graveyard is how the whistling affects us.

Well, I’ve been whistling past the graveyards of my failed businesses and failed relationships all my life. I’ve whistled past lost jobs, lost money and lost time. Hell, I whistle from inside the graveyard of the cubicle and the wage slaves everyday because I still have a day job!

But I keep on whistling and moving on. I’d like to propose to you here that “whistling” to yourself could have an effect on the outer world, but you have to go inside first.

For example: I “whistle” (positive self talk) to get and keep myself happy in spite of anything that goes on around me. I whistle to get comfortable with the idea of wealth and success.

I read books about how to become wealthy. I subscribe to newsletters and read magazines for the affluent. I watch movies like “The Secret” or “What the Bleep Do We Know”. I buy products and join membership sites whose purpose it is to help others create wealth and abundance. I am in a mastermind group that is focused on becoming wealthy people, and I am actively seeking to join a mastermind group of people who are already wealthy and successful.

I basically keep on ”whistling” by trying to surround myself with things that are related to wealth and prosperity so I can begin to accept it, feel it, own it, and finally to start expecting it.

I also “whistle” to myself and to the Devine using something called Ho’oponopono. It’s an ancient Hawaiian healing method that has gained recent polularity. At first, it sounds really woo-woo and out there; then as you progress with trying to understand it and ‘get your head around it’, it truly becomes what many call ‘mind-bending.’

In Joe Vitale’s book, “Zero Limits,” he talks about the unusual therapist who helped heal an entire hospital ward of mentally ill criminals - without seeing any of them.

His method for healing, which involves “cleaning” yourself of all negativity in order to see change in others.

It seems bizarre, but when you take care of your own issues, they disappear in other people.

The whole idea is to love the problems away by ‘cleaning’ on them internally. You basically do it by saying four statements: “I love you, I’m Sorry, Please Forgive Me, Thank You,” pretty much non-stop.

How can “cleaning” yourself with a mantra like “I love you” make a difference in your life?

The idea is based on the notion that there is nothing “out there.” The entire world is a projection of what you feel inside.

So, if you feel love, you will attract love. Because love contains gratitude, you attract more things to be grateful for. This is the essence of the law of attraction.

You get what you feel.

That’s it.

Everyone wants love. To be loved, to be in love and to be able to love. Love is the key. When you say “I love you” inside yourself, you cleanse yourself and you radiate an energy that others feel.

Skeptical?

Look at it this way:

Even if this whole method seems totally crazy to you, what harm can come from you saying “I love you” in your mind as you make calls, write emails, deliver pitches, create websites, sales copy or even just styanding in line to check out at the store?

If nothing else, you’ll have better feeling days.

Try it and see.

By the way, “I love you”.

Carl

The man who invented the twentieth century

You have to watch the video that follows. It’s eye-opening. You won’t find this on Snopes.com, because the science and the technology is real.

Nikola Tesla was a Serbian born in Croatia under the Austrian Empire. He became a scientist that many contemporary biographers have called “the man who invented the twentieth century” and also “the patron saint of modern electricity” because Tesla is largely the reason why we use AC or Alternating Current as the power source for our homes and businesses to this day. Tesla was opposed by Thomas Edison who wanted to continue the use of DC or Direct Current, as was the standard in the initial years of electricity distribution. This 1880’s dispute became known as the “War of Currents” or “Battle of Currents” era. During which, Tesla’s fame rivaled that of any other inventor or scientist.

In 1893, he was the first to demonstrate the feasibility of wireless communication or radio. Shortly afterwards, in 1895, an Italian inventor named Guglielmo Marconi developed the first working radio communication system.

Much of his work was groundbreaking in the field of electrical engineering and magnetism. Aside from his work on electromagnetism and engineering, Tesla is said to have contributed in varying degrees to the establishment of robotics, remote control, radar and computer science, the expansion of ballistics, and to nuclear physics.

The SI derived unit (International System of Units; abbreviated SI) that was created for measuring magnetic flux density or magnetic induction (commonly known as the magnetic field), was named Tesla (abbreviated ‘T’) in his honor (at the Conférence Générale des Poids et Mesures, Paris, 1960).

His eccentric personality and unbelievable and sometimes bizarre claims about possible scientific and technological developments caused him to ultimately be ostracized and regarded as a “mad scientist” by the scientific community. He died at the age of 86, broke.

He invented the now famous ‘Tesla Coil.’ Tesla used these coils to conduct innovative experiments in electrical lighting, fluorescence, x-rays, high frequency alternating current phenomena, electrotherapy, and wireless power for electric power transmission. I wonder what he would have thought of the US military’s latest achievement.

The U.S. Government has gone beyond the ground-based “Star Wars” weapon which was widely thought to be a laser based system. This new system is being tested in the remote back woods country of Alaska. This new system manipulates the ionosphere in a way which can:

* Disrupt and manipulate human physiological and mental processes over large geographical areas.
* Jam any and all global communications systems, both military and commercial.
* Possibly change weather patterns or control the weather over large areas.
* Interfere with wildlife migration patterns, and negatively affect the health and well being of both animal and human populations.
* Disrupt the operation of any electronics and computers on land, sea and in the air over hemispherical distances, possibly further.
* Transmit a focused energy beam for either destructive purposes or to power equipment wirelessly over hemispherical distances, possibly further.
* “See” objects deep underground; including underground bunkers or installations, ore deposits and oil.
* Unnaturally impact and damage the Earth’s upper atmosphere (ionosphere).

The U.S. military calls its zapper HAARP (High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program) and it’s already in phase two which means that the technology is being tested!

Towards the end, of the video they talk about how the technology behind this vibrational resonance technology and how this same science is used for human healing in Europe. The gentleman called it electro medicine and said that it is the wave of the future with regards to medicine. He discussed how it’s already being used by some acupressure/acupuncture as a way to open the energy meridians of the body.

I can only hope the use of these technologies will be governed properly and in accordance with high moral standards and the Geneva Convention. I for one hope we can get a moratorium on the technology until we can get it reviewed by scientists not under the employ of the military and have congressional oversight to make sure it’s not misused.

My Illegal Mexican Father

I’m a Caucasian American citizen. Born and raised in Texas. Down here the immigration and border security issues are hot topics. Recently, I was on YouTube and I ran across a rather distastefully done video that disparaged Mexican immigrants. The comments there were loaded with racism, stereotyping and curse words. It hurt my heart to read some of them.

My own father was a coward who left before I was born. The “American” side of my family was the typical, dysfunctional, fragmented and yes we have a few of the racists in there; and they tried their best to indoctrinate me with the small-minded ‘voices from the past’. They must have been late to the party, because I resisted.

When my mother married my stepfather who came from Mexico illegally we had some problems. Not because of race, though. I was the rebellious drug-head snot-nosed spoiled teenager who eventually grew to love him because he helped to make a man out of me. He did not put up with my bullshit and taught me the value of family and hard work. Without him, I am quite certain I’d be in jail, or dead.

In my life I’ve had many many friends and acquaintances who are from Mexico both legal and illegal. Some of them are the hardest working, honest and good-hearted people I’ve ever known. Some of them sold drugs and some were some of the laziest and filthiest people I’ve ever known. Some of them are gay, some of them straight, some bi-sexual. Some of them I’d happily share my home with any time, others I wouldn’t care enough to spit on. Some extremely smart and some extremely dumb.

My fellow Americans, my point is that they are us and we are them. We are all human. When you throw a brick at someone, you are really throwing a brick at yourself. You are hurting the generic human; you are harming humanity itself. I’m not saying we shouldn’t enforce our laws and secure our borders, or that we should or shouldn’t give amnesty. All I’m asking is that people keep a cool head and debate these things rationally.

Whether you’re for or against amnesty or putting up walls, I can only hope that if you are the kind that is quick to judge or stereotype and quick to anger — you will stop and consider my story before hurling more bricks. The life you save might be your own, or someone you love (or might love in the future!).

New Sony GC1 Net-Sharing Cam Test

Retail price 149.99 USD (not including a memory stick which is required)

Model Number: NSC-GC1
MPEG4 Net Sharing Cam

Available now.

Well, I finally went to get my flip ultra and ended up getting this instead. This thing is loaded with features, yet is easy to use (so far). I did have some problems installing the supposedly Windows Vista ready bundled software on my Vista rig…

The main reasons I chose this over the flip ultra are:

Memory:

Memory Stick and Memory Stick PRO Duo Media4 Slot, so I’m not limited by onboard ram size like the flip (well, it’s been tested up to 8 gb)…

Resolution:

CMOS Video: 640 x 480 or 320 x 240 30fps; Still: 5 Megapixel with SteadyShot Picture Stabilization System

Screen:

2.4″ SwivelScreen LCD Display rotates up to 270 degrees for multiple viewing angles. This is very handy for situations like concerts where you are in a crowd and need to do an overhead shot. I really enjoyed this feature with my old Agfa digital camera and it seems like none of the digital camera makers offer this functionality any more; so I heartily welcome it’s return here!

USB Streaming:

Can broadcast realtime live video with audio over the internet using the USB interface. (Can function as a webcam.)

Basically, with a 1gig Pro Duo Magic Gate memory stick, I paid the same as a flip ultra for a camera that (hopefully) does more with better quality, and is more versatile as well as offering up to 8gb of memory capability.

Help The Universe Help You

Religion VS. Spirituality

There’s a lot of talk about “The law of Attraction” (commonly abbreviated as ‘LOA’) these days.

Maybe you’ve seen the very popular viral movie “The Secret” (or watched it 200 times like some people), or you know about the Law of Attraction and have been trying to make it work. If you have figured out by now or have had the feeling that there is definitely more to it, you are right.

You are also probably beginning to realize that you need to do something else to make it work.

Many people mistakingly believe that if you just be happy and think about what you want, it will appear without them having to actually lift a finger. As much as our pre-packaged, “I want it now, make it easy society” would like, the unfortunate truth is that even knowing about the LOA doesn’t change the way things work on this plane of existence.

You have to take action. And you have to keep on taking action until you get what you want, or something better.

Sorry, that is the way it is…and I’m sorry (not really) if your ‘inner sissy’ can’t take it.

To bad, so sad. Get over it.

You may have heard the saying- “If it’s meant to be, it’s up to me.”Or the famous Henry Ford quote- “Whether you think you can or whether you think you can’t, you’re right.”

Well, it’s absolutely true.

Sometimes, a person may even take action towards a supposed goal, but the result is the same: nothing. Many times, those who take action end up with nothing because they are really just like someone who ‘says’ they want something, but does nothing serious towards getting it.

How many of you have spent hundreds or maybe even thousands attending seminars, buying tapes, cd’s and DVD’s (like ‘The Secret’), getting all motivated and pumped up to go and do something…but always seem to fail with yet another beautiful disaster?

How many of you have been that person, even when you knew what you wanted (or thought you did)?

Even having a direction wasn’t good enough, because meeting resistance caused you to turn around.

You went a little ways. You peeked around a corner or two, but never caught sight of the goal.

Why?

Because The Universe doesn’t budge for half steppers.

The Universe will just look at you and blink if you do that. The Universe won’t budge with a scanty little ‘want.’ You’ve got to stoke a fire under your own butt.

You’ve got to develop the courage to get the Universe’s attention.

And once you have it’s attention, you have to keep it. You have to prove you are worthy to use it’s power.

How?

With some serious, balls-to-the-walls, massive and sustained action if you want of knock off some big dreams.

Developing ‘Infinite commitment’.

Those that do not get what they are wanting do not because ultimately, they lack what I call ‘infinite commitment’ that’s required to achieve the stated intention; so when the going gets rough, they simply quit…even when following their passion.Infinite commitment is required to achieve big goals and follow your true passions. You have to be flexible. You have to constantly vary your approach. You have to constantly and consistently remind yourself why you want it, or who it is that you want to become, and you have to continue taking action to move you towards that goal.

I’m not talking about little things like…”I want a candy bar” or something like that. I’m referring to real, meaningful things, big goals and even those seemingly impossible dreams. To you I might be talking about the dreams or life scenarios that you have trouble seeing yourself experiencing. Those goals that if you sit down and try to see yourself in them, it takes some work, and even then the vision can fade out.

You have to really really really want it. You have to develop a burning desire for it.

Yes, you may feel that you are committed, and that may be true, but are you really doing everything you can to succeed? If you aren’t you need to have a sit down with yourself and seriously, with brutal honesty ask yourself if this is really what you want.

Again, “The Key” here is that you can’t half step. To make sure you don’t half-step or falter, you need to be absolutely clear on what you want and WHY you want it. What’s your passion?

You may have heard that anything worth having is hard to get. Now this may or not be true for you or for certain situations, but the truth is that if you are taking action with your full might, aligned with a passion that brings you joy, then chances are that it’s not hard (or you don’t notice if it is) because it is a labor of love. What’s more, when you are in this loving and creative ‘flow’ those positive coincidental things that are spoken of when referring to the Law of Attraction really do begin to appear.

They appear exactly and as surely as — those negative events that keep on happening when you are ‘down in the dumps’ and feeling frustrated and worthless all the time — do.

Keep your eye on the ball. Keep your eye on the prize. Be relentless. You have to keep the ‘WHY am I doing this’ alive. To be someone who has infinite commitment you must cover all of the angles if you want that better life.

One of the angles is ‘getting your mind right’.

And you can get your mind right by going HERE.

Godspeed and blessings.

How To Clearly Define Your Goals

A while back, I had a bolt of inspiration to create a mega-affiliate sales site for a well known marketing and law of attraction guru name Joe Vitale.

I got sidetracked due to negative self-talk which led to a lack of confidence and funding. Not to mention I’m not the best website coder/programmer in existence…but I’m learning.

Well things are starting to look up, my confidence has returned and I’m now getting around to building this site (among other things). So when I first started this, I put together this little ‘worksheet’ based on watching an extremely awesome video by “The Maverick Marketer” himself: Mr. Craig Perrine over on Pat O’Bryan’s “Your Portable Empire University” (of which I am a member).

I thought ‘d share as a way to help anyone who is considering a project of their own.

Anyways, here it is…

Why do I want this (what’s my story)?

It will give me a chance to be self-expressive, an outlet for my passion to be creative.
I love creating, engineering and implementing things of my own design. I love process improvement and applying innovation to existing constructs. I love improving things. I’m Japanese (lol). Extra income for my family and future projects. I want to get success under my belt so that I can become a solutions provider to people who were like me- stuck in the soul-sucking corporate world. To prove that there’s hope for people with things like alcoholism/drug abuse (and all that that entails) in their pasts.

Freedom. I’m tired of the 40/40/40 plan and it pisses me off that my advancement is limited others; that I need “permission” to advance. Time and money to take my family on vacations. Time and money to work on my music projects, my race cars, my gaming PC’s and whatever else I want to!

What 5 results that I will get when this is complete?

1. When I finish it, Joe has agreed to look at the site, which should lead other things.
2. I can start marketing the site.
3. I can begin to work on future plans and future USP for the site.
4. I can begin list building from this site.
5. I can start working on SEO stuff.

What are the top 10 obstacles that are blocking me from getting this done?

1. Finding and hiring a web designer.
2.. Figuring out how the site will interact with the affiliate programs.
3. Making tentative final decisions on the layout and feel of the site.
4. Setting up hosting (1shoppingcart)?
5. Getting graphic artwork completed that fits the vision I have.
6. Developing exclusive flagship content that fits the USP of the site.
7. Securing project development guidance (Pat/YPEU)
8. Money.
9. Time management.
10. Daily life roadblocks and distractions and being able to maintaining focus.

Sub/secondary obstacles.

1. Find out if I need a DBA/EIN for my marketing company.
2. Business plan?
3. Funding/cost analysis.
4. Bookkeeping/CPA/tax services.
5. Legal stuff.
6. Work on my writing, marketing and creating in my “own voice”.
7. Develop my style (Hawaiian shirt thing).
8. Finding out what the next steps are.

List 10 strategies for overcoming these obstacles.

1. Secure venture capital.
2. Secure project development/launch guidance; use YPEU to the full.
3. Search for/consult/hire web designer (in progress).
4. Research/hire hosting service. (what bandwidth/capabilities does a site like this need?).
5. Work with designer to develop site mapping/layout/interactions/other stuff (Joomla).
6. Research sites on the web to discover what flow/feel I want.
7. Gather artwork, photos and work on and complete them.
8. ?
9. ?
10. ???

Thoughts/Questions to ask:

I need to know if I’m asking the right questions and whether or not the goals and information on this worksheet are correct. I may not be asking the right questions because I may not know enough to know what I need to ask about.

1. What can I bring to the table that Joe can only get from me?

2. What is my USP on this?

3. Why would Joe want to get involved with this project at some point?

—————————————————————————

So from here, you can begin working out the details by using it as a blueprint for success.

So there you have it: a quick start goal-setting and getting clear formula.

Feel free to use it.

Blessings,

Carl

True Happiness: The Last Place You’ll Look

Cloud of Futility

Is this really all there is to life? Sometimes, it certainly seems so. But things aren’t always as they seem, no?

Right.

Barry Goss, shared this Native American parable with his partner, Heather Vale. As soon as I read this I knew you’d love it:

The Creator gathers all the animals and says: ‘I want to

hide something from humans until they are ready for it -
the realization that they create their own reality’.

‘Give it to me. I’ll fly it to the Moon,’ says the Eagle.

‘No, one day soon they will go there and find it.’

‘How about the bottom of the ocean?’ ask the salmon.

‘No, they will find it there too.’

‘I will bury it in the great plains,’ says the Buffalo.

‘They will soon dig and find it there.’

‘Put it inside them,’ says the wise grandmother mole.

‘Done,’ says the Creator. ‘It is the last place they
will look.’

Okay, so now that you know where to look… I’d like to share with you a great way to find it.

As you may know, I am a big believer in meditation. What’s more, I’m an even bigger believer in meditation with binaural beats and brainwave entrainment technologies.

One of the most powerful places on the net, where you can go to begin to gain command of your inner search, is at a new music-based brainwave entrainment site:

http://successunwrapped.com/harmonic.html

Brainwave entrainment has actually been in use for a very long time.

Tibetan tingsha bells are still used by meditators to help them enter into meditative states of mind.

Shamanic drumming has also been used to help participants enter into trance-like states of mind.

In modern times, people have been using binaural beats in hypnosis recordings and there are some systems entirely based on brainwave entrainment technology. Run-of-the-mill boring white noise recordings, ocean waves and beeping tones that others have been created using traditional brainwave entrainment methods require the use of headphones to be effective.

Harmonic Ascension’s enhanced brainwave technology soundscapes is the future. Now it is possible to entrain your mind without headphones! Gone are the days where you had to have headphones to entrain the mind.
